Go wild with removable and repositionable peel and stick wall art!
WallPops is an American based decor company who have recently branched out into the UK market. They produce a range of removable, repositionable wall decals with peel and stick convenience – some of today’s most stylish wall art!
WallPops are made of a high quality, durable vinyl and a sophisticated adhesive similar to the concept behind a post-it note. They are a fun, easy, trendy and affordable way to transform a room in minutes and they offer a diverse line of products to appeal to a wide variety of consumers of all ages.
The hardest part is trying to decide how to decorate – with so many fantastic ideas and inspiration, the possibilities are endless! I actually spent several days going through the website trying to decide which items to select for review – I really couldn’t decide! Here are a few of my favourites:
I’m noticing a flowery theme here! I was also keen on the dry erase products, especially the French Bistro inspired blackboard with white dry erase pen, but alas, there was no space in my kitchen big enough to put it. I was also tempted by the stained glass effect decals.
They have an easy to navigate website with products organized in clear categories. The delivery arrived, well packaged and undamaged, and I set to work decorating the children’s bedroom!
Long gone are the days where you have to use paints and stencils to create wall art – these decals were so simple to use! Just peel off the sheet and apply to the wall. If you put it in the wrong place, simply remove and replace to where you want it!
In the end I went for the Kid’s World Dry Erase Map (RRP £14.99). It’s big, bright and attractive to children and our two youngest had a lot of fun marking x’s where they’d like to go and visit in the world.
First thing was first though, DD had to add our little island to the map (which was decidedly lacking!). Most maps conveniently forget to include Shetland. In fact, there is a Facebook group dedicated to getting it back on the map! We do exist!
Secondly, I chose the Butterfly Garden Wall Art (£20.99) to decorate DD’s top bunk. I chose this as the white slats of her bunk bed resemble a white picket fence, I thought, and it would match the bunting I’d made her.
I really enjoyed putting this set up, and was surprised at how quickly it all came together. Looking at the photo I edited I now realise I forgot to put up the three 3D butterflies which came with the set – I used them as props in an orange curd butterfly cake photo shoot earlier that afternoon! Oops!
I was really impressed at the quality of these products, and the ease of which they were applied to the wall. Even the fiddly bits (the butterfly antennae) came off the paper with no problem at all, and no tearing. I think it’s a really rather effective and affordable way to add a touch of decoration without having to spend ages painting and stenciling!
