An Oxo Good Grips Review & Giveaway worth £54!
Oxo Good Grips have become a regular household kitchen name with a wide range of cookware, bakeware and kitchen tools to choose from. They have a tool for just about every kitchen job!
The two latest additions in my kitchen include the Oxo Good Grips 2.8 litre stainless steel mixing bowl and the Oxo Good Grips Non-Stick Pro Cookware 24 cm frying pan.
I have to confess that although I am a keen baker, I’ve never taken the time to invest in decent quality mixing bowls. All of my old mixing bowls are mismatched charity shop finds in various shades of bright pink, blue and orange with the occasional nice (but small!) Pyrex glass one. This is why you never see mixing bowls in any of my photographs!
That was until now.
I love my new Oxo Good Grips 2.8 litre stainless steel mixing bowl! It’s got a big enough capacity for most cake and cookie batters (and enough fish pie filling to feed eight!), and it looks great. The bowl has a smooth white plastic exterior which protects your hands from any hot temperatures of the ingredients (ie: hot fish pie filling!) while the brushed stainless steel interior can withstand any amount of whisking and beating, whether it’s by hand or electric mixer.
It’s got a silicone non-slip base too, which means it’ll make baking with the kids that much easier. Oh, and it’s dishwasher safe – win!
Visually speaking, the Oxo Good Grips Non-Stick Pro Cookware 24 cm frying pan is just an ordinary non-stick frying pan. However, when you look a bit closer you’ll find:
- A unique magnetic coating on the base guarantees superior heat transfer on all hobs.
- 3 layers of German-Engineered, PFOA-free, non-stick coating means effortless food release using less oil (and fewer calories!).
- Unique rolled edges for drip free pouring of liquids.
- It’s oven safe! Dual silicone-metal handle construction allows cookware to move directly from the hob to the oven up to 200C
- It’s dishwasher safe! Not many non-stick pans can say that.
- The handles are made of cast stainless steel wrapped in heat resistant silicone. Comfortable and non-slip.
Perfect for making pancakes or crepes! There’s nothing worse than a sticking pan when you’re making pancakes, is there!
