Issue 13 of our weekly bite sized review series.

Our Weekly Top Five Picks #13

This week we’re sharing the opportunity to personalise a jar of Marmite with your own text, we’ve got a brand new cast iron casserole dish, a personalised mixing bowl, chalk markers (with an exclusive discount code) and a children’s advent calendar craft kit plus a Christmas craft kit giveaway!

Other things I’ve been loving this week but don’t have shopping links for include mini chocolate Brussels sprouts from M&S, gifted to my husband by one of his customers, a giant tarnished metal snowflake (see my Instagram feed for a photo!) and a handcrafted ceramic handled soup bowl I picked up in the gift shop in the Bonhoga art gallery here in Shetland.

Personalised Jar of Marmite – This season’s most exclusive gift for the Marmite fan in your life. Order by the 16th of December for guaranteed delivery in time for Christmas. There’s room for 9 characters on the label – what would you write on yours? You can play around with the text on their website. I might have spent a silly amount of time doing this. Jolly good fun! £4.99

Masterclass Cast Iron Black Shallow Casserole – The latest addition to my pots & pans collection: a versatile, fully enamelled, shallow casserole perfect for braising stew meats and then popping into the oven to slow cook on these cold Autumn days. Measuring 30cm in diameter with a 3.5ltr capacity it’s great on the hob and in the oven. RRP £99.99 from Steamer Trading, it’s currently on sale for £34.99 (at the time of writing this – prices subject to change). Check out the discount voucher codes in my blog sidebar.

Christmas Advent Calendar Craft Kit – Everything your child needs to create their own personalised 80 x 40 cm fabric advent calendar from pre cut felt pockets, to felt with sticky backs for the dates, embroidery thread to sew the pockets on and templates to decorate as desired! Plus, it all comes in its own little adorable craft suitcase. What would you fill your calendar with? Sweets? Toys? Do check out their awesome range of Christmas crafts, and enter the giveaway below for a Christmas Craft Suitcase! RRP £20 from ButtonBag.co.uk

Personalised Mason Cash Mixing Bowl – a traditional earthenware mixing bowl that can be personalised with any message. The perfect gift idea for the baker in your family this festive season! Watch out for mine appearing in blog posts in the near future. Measuring 24cm in width £24.99 from IJustLoveIt.co.uk

Chalkola Chalk Pens – America’s top selling chalk markers are now available in the UK! With a 5.5 mm tip these wet wipe markers can be used on whiteboards, windows, mirrors, craft paper, mason jars, or any other non porous surface. They are eco friendly, non toxic, xylene free and odour free. A pack of 10 neon colour markers RRP £12.95 from Amazon and EKD readers can claim an exclusive 20% discount using this code upon Amazon checkout: 20OFFSTR

Christmas Craft Suitcase Giveaway

CHRISTMAS CRAFT SUITCASE GIVEAWAY

ButtonBag have very kindly offered one of my UK readers the opportunity to win one of their Christmas Craft Suitcases worth £20.

This little red suitcase contains loads of fantastic craft projects for all the family. Pre-cut felt shapes make this perfect for all ages – even those with very small fingers. There is some sewing but most things – like the easy- peasy Christmas bunting – can be made by threading and sticking.

Make four mini stockings, loads of tree decorations, cards and our favourite – Christmas fairies made from wooden beads, pipe-cleaners and felt – there are two to make – they will have to battle it out for pole position at the top of the tree. Suitcase includes scissors, needle kit, glitter glue, card blanks and envelopes and loads of fluffy balls, sticky shapes and ribbon trim.

Simply fill out the Rafflecopter entry form below to enter!
