For breakfast I usually love my plain, natural yogurt with fruit and homemade granola, but sometimes I like something different.
I recently borrowed a copy of Sally Butcher’s Veggiestan: a vegetable lover’s tour of the middle east and fell in love with it. It’s full of so many amazing recipes I am going to have to buy a copy of my very own.
I recently went looking online for an all-natural post-workout protein snack that didn’t involve shop-bought protein powder. Something that could be frozen and taken out of the freezer to defrost while I was at the gym. Do you think I could find anything?
Regular visitors to my blog will notice that I am particularly fond of granola. I like to try out new varieties because who wants to have the same kind of cereal for breakfast every morning?
I came up with this interesting take on the Black Forest Cake for our weekly Wednesday Pudding Night. My children are so hard done by they usually only get pudding once a week – but Wednesday’s Pudding Night is something they really look forward to.
I love yogurt but it is expensive if you eat it at the rate our family does! I would buy the local village shop’s entire stock and then run out before the next delivery if I didn’t make my own.
