    I cook my meat the day before and prep the veg early xmas morning, with the meat cooked the oven is free for the trimmings!

    Prepare the vegetable the night before so you have less to do on christmas day. Did try cooking the turkey then as well but didn’t work well for me

    i prepare the veg and leve in firdge in pans of water that ill use to boil in overnight i also coat the turkey with butter garlicand bcon the night before 🙂

    It’s easy to underestimate how much time you really need. Always start early and don’t stress. Food always tastes better when it’s made with happiness and love! 🙂

    Get as much prepped the day before and why not try cooking the parsnips with butter on the hob they only take 20 mins and then there is much more room in the oven 🙂

    Less is more if you’re hosting Christmas. You don’t have to do it all, menu-wise or physically. Delegate to survive! Anyone who likes to chat, give them some peeling and they can talk to you at the same time. Give your creative friends the job of dressing the table and the person you like least the washing-up.

    Don’t make too much! Keep portions smaller to avoid waste. There’s always cheese crackers, biscuits, chocolate etc to snack on later!

    If you blanch your veg the day before, you save a lot of time and energy on the day! Just lightly and quickly heat the veg in a bit of butter before serving.
