The canvas prints from Cheerz provide you with a work of art where you are the artist. Canvas paper printing, with a size of 40 cm x 40 cm or 45 cm x 65 cm, give your memories the beautiful display they deserve. Enter our giveaway to win one of 2 x £50 Cheerz vouchers!

I take a lot of photos. I think most people do, what with how advanced mobile phone camera technology is these days, and how affordable regular cameras are. Remember when each photo taken counted, and how you had to wait to have your films developed at your local camera shop? Now, there’s no problem in taking hundreds of images at a time, trying to capture that perfect frame.

With Cheerz, the online photo printing service, you can transform your images into beautiful pieces of artwork. They have everything from basic photo printing, to photo books, fridge magnets, scrapbooks, boxes, gift cards and a selection of wall decor – including canvas prints.

It’s really easy to do too – you can either download the free Cheerz app onto your phone (click here for Apple and click here for Android) and then simply select which photo item you’d like, or visit their canvas print page via a computer.

I’ve gone with a 45 cm x 60 cm canvas print for £42, while a 40 cm x 40 cm costs just £28.

You can upload a selection of photos to choose from (pictured above, left) and they’ll display in the virtual living room on the right. Take care though, as if your image isn’t of high enough quality (like mine) a red circle with an exclamation mark will appear in the corner letting you know the resulting print might be pixelated.

Truth be told, I didn’t see this red circle until after my product arrived – I had to view the webpage in full screen (by pressing F11) for it to show up, so my resulting print isn’t as good a quality as it could have been.

Once you’ve selected your photo you can edit it by clicking on the image, if you like, to get it just the way you want. Then, you choose to add a 3M© Velcro fastener for £6; great for fixing and zero traces when taken off, so you don’t need to put any holes in the wall! Alternatively, add a floating frame for £25. Your print can be delivered mounted in a polished, wooden frame with a kit of 3M© Velcro fasteners ready to put on the wall. The perfect way to display your favourite memory!

I didn’t opt for either of these, choosing the simple sawtooth hanger to hang my frame.

Simply place your order, and a few days later your canvas print will arrive!

I’m quite pleased with my print, which is a photograph I took of the inside of a wooden shed in the Leprosy Museum in Bergen, Norway, a few summers ago. I loved the layers of paint and the 1929’s were striking. Unfortunately, I didn’t orientate my photo far enough left for the entire 1929’s to be visible, but that was my user error. It still works, as a rather abstract piece of art, I think.

Making healthy lunch recipes can sometimes be impossible for you when you are on the run. Eating the same thing for lunch can get boring and eating out every day is unhealthy and expensive.
