Baking Mad – Easter Giveaway

Published on April 9, 2014 β€’ Last updated November 25, 2015 by Elizabeth Atia

The Easter Holidays are well and truly upon us. Here in Scotland my children have been on their school holidays for a week and a half now and they’re starting to get a bit… needing entertained? Is there a better way to entertain children than to get creative in the kitchen? Yesterday morning while it was raining outdoors we made some chocolate Easter Eggs with a plastic chocolate egg mould. I was surprised at how easy (and messy!) it was to make them, and the mould will be getting reused over and over again for sure! To help keep your children (or even yourself!) entertained during the Easter Holidays Baking Mad have offered two of my readers a little chocolatey Silver Spoon baking bundle to play with.

Silver Spoon Baking Bundle
1 x 300 gram Silver Spoon Cakecraft Milk Chocolate Flavour Cake Covering
1 x 100 gram Silver Spoon Cakecraft Dark Chocolate Chips
1 x 125 gram Silver Spoon Cakecraft Chocolate Flavour Icing Sugar
1 x 120 gram Silver Spoon Cakecraft Green Designer Icing
For some Easter baking ideas pop on over to the Baking Mad website. They’ve got a great chocolate Easter egg tutorial, or what about Easter chocolate nests, Easter simnel brownies or cake pops? Plenty of ideas to keep the children entertained in the kitchen during the holidays!
For your chance to win one of two Silver Spoon Baking Bundles enter via the Rafflecopter entry below.

It’s my son’s first birthday in less than a month and I plan on making a cake for him. At his age, I want to know exactly what he’s eating and making my own cake means I can add only the ingredients that I want him to eat.

We love making gingerbread man shaped cakes and the kids love decorating them with all different things to see who can do the best one. Kate Milton

It may sound boring, but a plain sponge cake. It’s my mothers favourite. I don’t even add icing, just a little orange zest & juice to the mix before baking.
