It’s happened. I’ve had my 15 minutes of fame. I spent 3.5 hours a fortnight ago recording, on site, with a BBC radio presenter for the upcoming episode of BBC Radio 4’s technology series: Digital Human. Season 9, episode 3: Taste, aired last night. And I refused to tune in!
Last year I blogged about the fantastic experience I had at the continental market held on Commercial Road in Lerwick, the main town here in Shetland. I am delighted to announce that they are returning again this year! Delicious home made baklava and exotic cheese – here I come!

This evening I am celebrating with a glass (or two) of red wine as today I found out I’d not only been nominated (I had no idea I’d even been nominated!) but that I’ve been shortlisted in not one, but two different categories in the BritMums Brilliance in Blogging awards 2014!
I lost my blogging mojo a little bit since the New Year. Things have been incredibly busy of late, with me often working on several different projects at the the same time in between juggling home and child-rearing responsibilities (oh, and getting married!)
