Shetland Cheese Ltd is the UK’s most Northerly producer of cheese. Established in 2009, they are located in a former smokehouse on the west side of Shetland, a remote archipelago located in the North Sea midway between Norway, Iceland and the mainland of Scotland; closer to the Arctic Circle than to London.
All cheese will be vacuum-packed/waxed unless you specifically request fresh wrapped in paper (which is available at no extra charge – but you will need to use within 5 days to enjoy at its best). All their cheese is free of unnecessary chemicals, colourings or preservatives, and they are vegetarian and gluten-free.
