It’s officially Spring, and what a better Spring-time lunch is there than a lovely tomato, red onion and goats cheese salad?
I don’t know where this recipe came from, but it’s the first chocolate cake recipe I ever started making on my very own when I was a wee thing. As you can see from the state of my old recipe book I made it quite a lot (or perhaps just very messily!).
I meant to post this a few weeks ago after I’d make the chicken stock using the carcass of a roasted chicken, but I forgot about it until this morning when I pulled out an ice cream tub of frozen stock from the freezer (I’m on a mission to empty the deep freeze)!
This cannelloni recipe is a regular in our household. It’s one of the few meals I make which all the children will eat without complaining! There’s usually at least one of them that need prompting to finish up their meal, but not with this recipe.
